How this site works, and who gets your information
Yorktown Kitchen and Bath is a referral site, not a contractor. When you call or send the form, we connect you with one independent, licensed remodeler who works in your town. This page explains the whole thing so nothing is a surprise.
What happens when you call
You call or send the form
Tell us the room, the town and what is bothering you. A person answers during business hours at (914) 228-6746.
We match you with one remodeler
Kitchens and whole-home work go to one licensed contractor, bathrooms to another. Each one works in your town, not from a call center.
They come measure and write it up
The contractor visits, measures, and gives you a written itemized estimate. You are under no obligation to book.
You decide
Compare it, ask questions, take your time. If you book, the contract and the work are between you and the contractor.
Who the contractors are
Two independent companies take the referrals from this site. One handles kitchens, cabinets, counters and whole-home work across northern Westchester and Putnam. The other handles bathrooms and the trades around them. Both are licensed in Westchester County, both carry insurance, and both give you their own name, number and paperwork on the first visit. You hire them directly. Nothing about the contract runs through this site.
What this site gets out of it
Calls and form submissions to this site may be referred to an independent licensed contractor. This site may receive compensation. You are under no obligation. In plain terms: if you hire the contractor we connect you with and the job completes, the contractor pays this site a referral fee. You never pay more because you came through here. The estimate you get is the contractor's normal price.
What we do with your information
Your name, number, town and project notes go to the one contractor we match you with, and to the customer relationship software that routes the call. They are not sold and they are not passed to a list of companies. The privacy policy has the full version.
What we ask of the contractors
- Call you back within one business day of the referral.
- Measure on site before quoting. No number over the phone that changes later.
- Put the estimate in writing, itemized, with what is and is not included.
- Pull the permit when the town requires one, in their name.
- Tell you plainly when a job is not worth doing, or not theirs to do.
If something goes wrong
If a contractor does not call back, or the job goes sideways, call us at (914) 228-6746. We would rather hear it than not. The complaints policy says what we do with it.
